Nonni's Pink Kitchen Recipe #1

1 lb ground beef
¼ lb ground pork
Breadcrumbs
Grated Ramano cheese
Italian parsley
Seasoning – salt, pepper, garlic
3 eggs
1 5 oz. can evaporated milk

As you can see, there aren’t measurements for some of the ingredients. Nonni used to eyeball it, and they always came out perfect. Sometimes that is the fun in sharing old family recipes – you get to decide how your family likes it!

 

Combine all ingredients – it should be a bit on the gushy side. Form into balls (sometimes, the meatballs turn out more like meatsquares because the mixture isn’t firm. This is okay!)  and fry until golden brown on all sides, but not cooked through. Once the meatballs are browned, sauté in spaghetti sauce on low heat for about an hour until cooked through.
